Job Description

Assist and support the Public Education & Special Projects department in administrative, clerical, and outreach needs. Duties will include enrollment management; local area high school outreach and support, dual credit documentation processing and program management. High school diploma and six years wage earning clerical experience or certification / successful completion of relevant trade school (30 college credits) and two years wage earning clerical experience or Associates Degree and one year wage earning clerical experience is required . A copy of certificates and/or college transcripts is required with application for evaluation purposes.
Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague Student Application and Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Preferred Knowledge of Dual credit procedure Admissions and residency requirements, Texas Success Initiative Required Skills of running and interpreting enrollment reports Ability to Communicate effectively; Operate independently; research knowledge needed to accomplish assignments; Problem-solve with discernment; Evaluate sources of problems; Collaborate with other CTC departments and ISDs; Learn and adapt in a changing environment; Maintain confidentiality when processing sensitive information. Keep track of drops due to certification rosters for dual credit classroom courses. Provide support in coordinating the dual credit enrollment process for KISD, CCISD, and other ISDs. Assist in the registration process to include collection and review of admission documents and packets. Evaluate applications for completion. Assist with maintaining the dual credit transmittal. Prepare enrollment request for Office of the Registrar. Prepare and evaluate data reports for the Associate Dean and ISD representatives.

Assist with maintenance of the Dual Credit Handbooks, forms and brochures. Participate and provide support in coordinating grant-related events and activities. Participate in outreach and recruiting events. Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff. Other duties as assigned.
