Job Description

Performs complex clerical and routine support work to complete the Social Security Administration disability claims. Work is performed independently with minimum supervision within established policies and procedures and is subject to review and approval by supervisor.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
Assisting consumers with completing forms Monitors for changes in client's pay status Coordinates and schedules appointments Maintain and work with files of a confidential nature Transmits material to proper authorizing officials Prepare documents for obtaining all evidence of disability Setup protective filing date with Social Security Office Maintain appropriate eligibility files Maintain concise documentation on procedures in the disability services area Assists with other billing and assigned duties as needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must have high school diploma or GED -Required Must have four years' experience performing administrative support work. Experience in working with the mentally disabled client and/or Social Security disability claims processing system-Preferred Must have valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills Must have excellent time management skills as well as organization/filing skills Must be able to transport clients Must be able to lift up to 30lbs. Ability to maintain accurate documentation Must have interviewing skills in obtaining information from the mentally disabled client Must be able to meet the essential requirements and have regular, dependable attendance

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Salary:
$34,548.80 annual and $16.61 hourly
