Organized. Ready to Keep Patient Care Moving. Human Touch Home Health is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Eligibility Coordinator to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who understands that verifying benefits isn't just paperwork. Accurate eligibility information helps prevent delays, protects reimbursement, and ensures our team has the information needed to move patient care forward. What We Offer Competitive Full-Time Compensation Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Aflac Monday-Friday Schedule Full-Time, In-Office Stability Supportive Team Environment Professional Growth Opportunities What You'll Do Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to or upon admission Confirm coverage for home health services Review Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance benefits Identify authorization, referral, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and coverage requirements Obtain and document insurance verification information accurately Communicate with insurance companies and payer representatives to resolve eligibility questions Identify potential coverage issues and communicate them promptly to the appropriate team members Assist with obtaining required authorizations and tracking authorization status Maintain accurate patient insurance and demographic information Coordinate with Intake, Billing, Clinical, and other departments to prevent delays in service Follow up on pending eligibility and authorization issues Maintain organized and timely documentation within company systems Protect patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance What We're Looking For Previous experience with insurance eligibility, benefits verification, medical billing, intake, authorization, or healthcare administration Home Health Experience Strongly Preferred Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Ability to read and understand insurance benefits and coverage requirements Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent phone, communication, and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple patients, deadlines, and priorities Comfortable working with electronic healthcare systems WellSky Experience is a Plus Dependable and able to work on-site in our Falls Church office Why Human Touch?
