Job Description

The Eligibility Specialist enrolls patients with insurance and assists patients in applying for financial assistance for our pharmacy, medical and dental services. In this role, they must provide the highest level of customer service, actively working to help the patient in a warm, helpful, and empathetic manner. The Eligibility Specialist is also accountable for important administrative and clerical functions to support the CCR team. Responsibilities Provides excellent service, information and support to patients and colleagues on the phone and in person. Manages medical and behavioral health appointment scheduling according to established procedures. Successfully adapts to changes in the EHF and practice management systems, work flows and processes, and improvement efforts, including participating in employee training. Complete necessary continuing education credits and trainings to maintain In Person Navigator certification. Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communication skills, computational and computer skills and mathematical knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school program.
