With nearly 500 guest rooms, an award-winning Bathhouse, and an iconic Lobby Bar, the resort offers a full range of hospitality and leisure experiences. On-site amenities include a spa, multiple dining options, and a coffee shop, providing guests with convenient and diverse services. Surrounded by Hot Springs National Park, the property offers easy access to hiking, biking, shopping, and local attractions. Team members join a setting that blends heritage, relaxation, and adventure in a vibrant resort environment. Role Description The Executive Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at The Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa in Hot Springs, AR. In this position, the individual provides high-level administrative support to hotel leadership, including: Manage and maintain General Manager's schedule. Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents as requested. Screen incoming calls, make notes of essential information and prioritize the calls to be returned. Coordinate and plan hotel events, such as The New Years Eve Party. Prepare agendas, attend, compile and distribute minutes for management meetings. Prepare, proofread, and edit all correspondence. Update website information and rates. Keep approved driver listing. Follow up on all guest claims, including auto and theft. Greet visitors and determine if they will have access to the General Manager. Schedule meetings or appointments. Handle escalated guest concerns.
Have complete knowledge of:
All hotel facilities, services, and hours of operation. Room availability for any given day. Restricted dates, rates, and room types. All room rates, packages, and promotions. Entertainment and special events scheduled in the hotel. Adhere to hotel's dress code policy. Must be available to work some weekends and holidays. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong administrative assistance and executive administrative assistance skills, with experience supporting senior leadership or management. Professional phone etiquette and customer service abilities, including managing high call volumes and routing inquiries effectively. Clear, courteous communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with guests, vendors, and internal teams. Solid clerical skills, including document preparation, recordkeeping, data entry, and proficiency with office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets). Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines. Demonstrated reliability, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information and sensitive matters. Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or a customer-facing environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, hospitality, or office administration is a plus.
