Led by world-renowned oncologist and researcher, James R. Berenson, MD. Berenson Cancer Center is a pioneer in creating cutting-edge treatments for patients with myeloma and associated blood cancers. We are located near Beverly Hills in the Sunset Medical Tower in West Hollywood, California, USA.
Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant Job duties:
  • Arrange CEO's calendar
  • Coordinate schedule of calls and onsite meetings
  • Coordinate pharma/biotech lunches
  • Arrange travel for CEO and family
  • Coordinate with accounting personnel on payment of certain personal bills that are paid through the business bank account
  • Monitor donations and prepare donation Thank You letters
  • Arrange lectures performed by CEO offsite (in and out of state)
  • Assist with tasks related to non-profit events (calls with vendors, invitations, letters, etc.)
  • Coordinate fundraising events (including all the virtual meetings that lead up to the event and operations the day of the event)
  • Oversee updates related to donor wall
  • Prepare minutes for internal meetings
  • Process and submit reviews of research papers
  • File scientific and medical papers and research-, personal- and business-related documents
  • Interactions or assistance as requested by internal staff of the four internal companies
  • Incorporate AI tools to streamline projects
  • Other miscellaneous job duties that may arise in the role
  • Gather loan documents for CEO and submit to appropriate parties
  • Prepare expense reports for CEO as needed
  • Track revenue/expenses daily for CEO and family; pay personal bills and ensure personal bank account is fully funded
  • Coordinate system integrations within internal companies.
Track responsibilities for all parties involved and monitor deliverables to meet all deadlines.
Requirements:
4 years of experience in a similar role. Bachelor's degree Detail oriented with excellent proactive organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking abilities. Technical proficiency including MS Office Suite and other organizational tools. Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills. Energy and initiative to assist in improving and streamlining processes.
