About the role Athleta is looking for a highly trusted, proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO of Athleta and help enable the effectiveness of the brand leadership team. This role is a strategic partner who anticipates needs, connects dots, and keeps priorities moving in a fast-paced, highly visible environment. Working closely with the CEO, executive assistants, administrative assistant team and cross-functional leaders, this person will manage complex priorities and help ensure the CEO is prepared, informed, and focused on the work that matters most. What you'll do Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, proactively managing priorities, commitments, and follow through with sound judgment and discretion. Own complex calendar management, meeting coordination, travel planning, and expense processing with exceptional judgment and attention to detail. Anticipate needs and determine which matters require CEO attention, resolving or routing other issues to the appropriate partners. Prepare for and support key meetings, including agendas, materials, logistics, and action item follow up. Build genuine, trusted relationships across Athleta and Gap Inc., partnering effectively with senior leaders, executive assistants, and key internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a key connector across the Athleta administrative team, sharing timely communication, aligning on priorities, and providing guidance and partnership that enables the team to work effectively with a One Team approach. Serve as an approachable and resourceful point of connection within the office, helping employees navigate day to day questions and connecting them with the right resources and partners. Support special projects from planning through execution, bringing organization, follow through, and flexibility as priorities evolve. Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism. Operate with a high degree of independence, initiative, and agility while balancing multiple high priority and time sensitive needs Who you are Previous experience supporting a CEO or other C-suite executive is strongly preferred. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and can navigate ambiguity with calm, agility, and sound judgment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships at all levels. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-through; able to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture. A self-starter with a service mindset, strong business acumen, and a genuine interest in Athleta, our customer, and our mission. Typically requires 6+ years of related experience, including significant experience supporting senior executives. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with periodic availability outside regular working hours when critical business needs arise
Salary Range:
$119,000.00 - $148,700.00 Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
