About The Weld Trust:
The Weld Trust is a philanthropic health conversion foundation dedicated to promoting excellence in health and education in Weld County, Colorado. It was established following the sale of the North Colorado Medical Center in 2019, transitioning community healthcare assets into a long-term funding source for local impact initiatives. The Trust awards strategic grants to nonprofit organizations, schools, and government entities located in or serving Weld County, supporting a wide range of health and education programs—from childhood literacy and workforce development to behavioral health, food security, and housing stability—to improve the well-being and opportunities of county residents. It also helps build nonprofit capacity and furthers collaborative community impact efforts. Additionally, The Weld Trust serves as the fiscal agent for Bright Futures, a workforce development initiative that provides post-secondary education and training support to Weld County students. About the
Position:
The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the CEO and other Leadership members. This position serves as a forward-facing contact point to public stakeholders and must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, courtesy, efficiency, and service. They will organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts, as well as oversee special projects. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. This position will provide and lead support to both internal and external parties with a high level of professionalism and in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact to the public with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency. Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills. Coordinate both internal and external calendar appointments of CEO and other staff members, as needed. Coordinate logistics of key annual events including Board Retreat, Staff and Leadership meetings, and the annual Grant Partner reception. Primary coordination of food and beverage needs for all meetings, both internal and external. Coordinate and manage office and copy machine supplies in compliance with credit card and purchasing policies. Manage sensitive confidential matters with discretion, professionalism and sound judgment. Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, agendas, reports and special projects using Govenda, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Arrange travel and accommodations for staff members. Prepare expense reports. Screen and manage incoming telephone calls, messages and requests; gather information and refer non-routine calls to the appropriate staff. Demonstrate excellent communication, organization and time management skills while consistently meeting deadlines. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and perform additionally administrative or project-based duties as assigned. Coordinate logistics of Board, Board Sub-Committee, and Grants Advisory Council meetings including assisting with agenda preparation, drafting email correspondence, and coordinating and uploading meeting materials. Be responsive to emails, phone calls, and texts Represent the organization positively through great follow-through, attention to detail and high standards of professionalism Serve as a central point of contact for internal staff, partners, and stakeholders, responding to inquiries and facilitating clear and timely communication.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position and requires employees to work in an office environment daily. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some evening and weekend hours required around events.
