Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized Executive Assistant to support senior leadership in a Contract position based in Moodus, Connecticut. This role focuses on managing a fast-moving schedule, coordinating travel and meetings, and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and confidence using Google Workspace and standard office tools in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Superintendent's calendar, prioritize appointments, and keep daily schedules accurate and up to date.
- Arrange travel plans, prepare itineraries, and coordinate related logistics to ensure smooth business travel.
- Organize executive meetings by scheduling participants, confirming details, and preparing materials in advance.
- Draft, review, and distribute correspondence and documents while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Track important events, deadlines, and district activities to support effective planning and follow-through.
- Maintain organized records and information using Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and other office applications.
- Support onboarding coordination and administrative updates related to staffing changes and new hires.
- Verify details carefully in all communications and schedules to reduce errors and ensure accuracy.
