Job Description

Regional Care Group is Indiana's largest and most comprehensive network of community-based healthcare and social services. We provide access to integrated, community-based care from early childhood through life that enhances the well-being and resilience of individuals, families and our entire communities. Regional Care Group collectively represents human service nonprofits as well as state and federal social service and health care programs offering a complete continuum of care. Regional Care Group created to unify Regional Health Systems, Lake Park Residential Care, and Geminus into a network collective.

Position Purpose:

The Executive Assistant (EA) serves as the primary administrative and operational partner to the President/COO office, providing high-level executive support and serving as a trusted representative in coordinating and advancing organizational priorities, within the President/COO office. This position exercises strong writing skills, sound judgment, flexibility, discretion, and initiative to manage executive communications, coordinate complex projects, and facilitate the timely completion of administrative and operational tasks on behalf of the President/COO. Acting as an extension of the President/COO, the Executive Assistant collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, follows through on delegated assignments, and ensures that executive directives are implemented efficiently and professionally. Through exceptional organization, confidentiality, and relationship management, this position enables the President/COO office to focus on strategic leadership while maintaining the effective day-to-day operation of the executive office and its departments. In addition to excellent relational skills, the EA position requires an ability to understand and respect boundaries where sensitive management information may or may not be appropriately shared. From time to time the scope and responsibility entrusted to this position changes so adaptability is important. The position may also involve additional tasks as needed, contributing to continuous improvement and fostering a high-quality client, patient, student, family, tenant, customer, staff, executive, vendor, and visitor experience while supporting the organization's Scope The position regularly assists the President/COO in maintaining strong collaborative relationships with respective management teams as well as with the external partners. The EA must often assist with convening and supervising teams of volunteers to plan and host Regional Care Group (RCG) events to promote employee morale or to recognize performance achievements. The responsibility of triaging the many different kinds of information and requests coming to the President/COO office and its departments requires broad awareness of RCG services and those who manage those services as well as good judgment to determine what can be dealt with directly or what needs to be passed on. This represents continuity whether, or not, the President/COO is available or on site.

Education Requirements:

Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience:

5 years' experience in administrative assistant or related position. Experience in non-profit services preferred.
