full-time Executive Assistant to Founder/CEO Newton, MA | $100K-$120K + Bonus The Opportunity This is not your typical Executive Assistant role. A strongly backed, rapidly growing start-up in Newton is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Founder/CEO. This is a true right-hand opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the center of a business, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to anticipate what a busy executive needs before they ask. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience supporting high-level executives, preferably in a smaller, entrepreneurial or start-up environment where you've had to wear a lot of hats and figure things out as you go. You'll work closely with the Founder/CEO, helping manage priorities, create structure, solve problems and keep the business-and the CEO-moving forward. What You'll Do Provide high-level, proactive support to the Founder/CEO Act as a true right hand, helping manage priorities, time and competing demands Own a complex and ever-changing calendar Coordinate meetings, travel, events and day-to-day logistics Anticipate needs and proactively address issues before they become problems Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal teams, clients, investors and external partners Help organize and execute special projects and company initiatives Bring structure and organization to a fast-moving environment Jump in wherever needed and wear many hats Handle sensitive and confidential information with exceptional discretion Keep the Founder focused on the highest-priority initiatives What We're Looking For 15+ years of experience supporting senior-level executives Significant experience supporting a very busy Founder, CEO or senior executive Background in a start-up, entrepreneurial or smaller company environment strongly preferred Someone who has successfully operated as a true right hand-not simply a calendar manager Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented and proactive Strong judgment and the ability to operate with a high degree of discretion Confident managing changing priorities and ambiguity Resourceful, polished and solutions-oriented Comfortable working independently and taking ownership A genuine roll-up-your-sleeves attitude-you see what needs to be done and do it Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with people at all levels Why This Role?
