Job Description

Description:
The EA provides legal and executive administrative support to a senior legal executive. This role combines paralegal responsibilities such as contract support, legal research, corporate recordkeeping, and transaction assistance with executive support including calendar management, meeting coordination, expense processing, and confidential communications. The ideal candidate is an experienced paralegal who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities while handling privileged and highly confidential information with discretion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, proofread, and format contracts, legal documents, and routine correspondence. Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, reports, and briefing materials. Maintain corporate records, entity documentation, compliance calendars, and contract databases. Track contract deadlines, renewals, expirations, and other key dates. Assist with due diligence, document review, transactions, and legal projects. Coordinate with outside counsel and other internal and external stakeholders. Manage the senior legal executive's calendar, meetings, communications, and priorities. Screen and prioritize calls, correspondence, and meeting requests. Process invoices, expense reports, receipts, and credit card reconciliations. Maintain confidential and attorney-client privileged information appropriately. Serve as a professional liaison and gatekeeper for the senior legal executive.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Paralegal certificate/degree is a plus; equivalent relevant experience preferred. 3+ years of professional paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm. Experience supporting a senior executive or legal leader strongly preferred. Knowledge of corporate governance, contracts, legal research, and litigation or transaction support. Proficiency with Microsoft or Google productivity tools, contract management systems, and legal research platforms. Exceptional organization, communication, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills. Strong judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and ability to manage competing deadlines independently. Professional, proactive, resourceful, and collaborative approach.
