Job Description

Assistant Executive Director - Retirement Community Full-Time | Shared On-Call Rotation We are seeking a strong, mission-driven leader to serve as Assistant Executive Director (AED) in our retirement community. This role partners closely with the Executive Director (ED) to oversee daily operations, support department leaders, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote excellence in resident services and team engagement. The AED serves as Acting ED in their absence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Healthcare, or related field) 3+ years of leadership experience in senior living, housing, or similar setting HUD experience Budget, staff supervision, and operational oversight experience Knowledge of state and federal regulations Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver's license, clean MVR and current auto insurance Looking for a dependable, servant leader who values accountability, teamwork, and serving older adults (Elders) in the spirit of Christian love!!! Preferred Qualifications 5 years experience preferred. Minimum Qualifications Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study. At least three years experience in a supervisory capacity, with some experience in housing management, administration and/or social services; basic computer skills; must be able to communicate effectively, both written and orally, with all levels of the organization; experience with budget preparation , strategic planning and personal management preferred; experience in accepted accounting practices beneficial.
