Executive Assistant YouTurn - 5.0 Omaha, NE Job Details Part-time $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Accounting systems Zoom Executive administrative support Microsoft Teams Communications Clerical experience Productivity software Office management Associate's degree Full Job Description Position Summary The Executive Assistant provides high‑level administrative and operational support to YouTurn's Executive Director, Senior Management Team, and Board of Directors . This role supports a Community Violence Intervention and Prevention (CVI) organization and requires strong organization, professionalism, confidentiality, and an understanding of trauma‑informed, community‑based work. Key Responsibilities Provide executive‑level administrative support to leadership and the Board Prepare Board and Committee materials and accurately record meeting minutes Maintain governance documents (bylaws, conflict of interest, annual records) Manage the Executive Director's calendar and meeting logistics Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage mail and office operations Assist with payroll preparation and basic accounting tasks (deposits, invoices, record‑recordkeeping) Support community events and organizational functions (occasional evenings/weekends) Maintain professionalism and discretion in a high‑stress, community‑centered CVI environment Qualifications Associates' degree in Business, Accounting, Communications, Human Services , or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience supporting senior leadership and/or Boards Experience taking Board meeting minutes; familiarity with Robert's Rules of Order preferred Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom , and accounting software Ability to maintain confidentiality and work compassionately in a trauma‑informed setting Experience or knowledge of community‑based nonprofit or CVI work preferred
