Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Onsite (Potential for Hybrid) Position Overview Our client, a respected nonprofit legal services organization, is seeking an Executive Legal Assistant to support the Director. This unique role combines executive-level administrative support with substantive legal assistant and paralegal responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and enjoys being a trusted partner to legal leadership. The position supports a busy legal department handling consumer law, civil litigation, grant administration, and other public interest legal matters. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities Provide direct administrative and legal support to the Director. Prepare, proofread, and format legal correspondence, reports, and other documents. Assist with case management, document organization, and maintaining electronic case files. Enter and maintain information within the organization's legal case management system Generate reports, track data, and assist with grant administration and reporting requirements. Coordinate calendars, meetings, and scheduling for the Director. Assist with legal research, document preparation, and administrative support for attorneys as needed. Organize and maintain confidential legal records and files. Communicate professionally with staff, clients, and external partners. Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the legal department. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Executive Assistant in a legal environment, Paralegal, or similar legal support role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new technology. Experience with legal case management system is highly preferred. Experience supporting litigation, legal operations, nonprofit organizations, or grant administration is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
