Job Description

Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper and Executive Assistant Combined Position for a substantial Family Office with multiple Operating Companies and Commercial and Residential Properties in 4 states.
As Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper :
Process payroll of managers and staff engaged in business activities and support services and handle Accounts Payable for multiple residences and facilities in NH and FL. Administer benefits to include insurances and 401k plan, and negotiate insurances, primarily health insurance on an annual basis. Be able to assess the tradeoffs between having conventional health insurance and self-insuring with a third-party administrator. Perform journal entries as required and interface directly with regional accounting firm for tax preparation. Properly account for costs associated with a corporate aircraft, including depreciation in compliance with FAA and IRS rules and regulations.
As Executive Assistant :
Manage calendars of two owners, make appointments, and adjust as priorities change or conflicts arise. Prepare relevant materials for owners to take to meetings and assist owners as they transition from one residence to another. Have the sophistication required to effectively interface with senior businesspeople and their staffs, as well as the staff of senior elected officials. Coordinate activities for entertaining guests, hosting dinner parties, and hosting fundraising events for individuals seeking high level offices to include presidential candidates. Fill in for owners at functions owners cannot personally attend, including reading a letter from the owners. Successful candidate should have excellent computer skills, particularly MS Office and Quick Books software as well as the Apple "walled garden" and be able to serve as a "help desk" to owners. Candidate should also have a reasonable working knowledge of finance and personal income taxes. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
