Job Description

Overview Full time, year-round Executive Assistant for the owner of multiple businesses in Cape May. The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and organizing logistics for a local business owner and philanthropist. Day-to-day responsibilities include calendar management, handling correspondence, maintaining files and records, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items. The role also involves drafting and editing documents, maintaining organized files , and supporting meeting preparation and minutes. The Executive Assistant will serve as a key communication point, interacting with internal and external stakeholders and helping to maintain a professional, efficient office environment. Qualifications Strong Executive Administrative Assistance and Executive Support skills, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and task prioritization. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent Communication abilities, including clear written correspondence, professional verbal communication, and exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette Proficient Administrative Assistance skills, such as document preparation, filing, data entry, and office organization. Proficiency with common office software (Google Workspace) and comfort learning new tools and systems. Strong organizational skills, discretion with confidential information, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Ability to work on-site full time in Cape May, NJ, and manage multiple priorities. Previous experience supporting executives or senior leadership is preferred; an associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus. Demonstrated customer service skills along with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude The business owner works from multiple locations in the Cape May area and the executive assistant should be prepared to accompany the business owner based on his schedule and support needs.
