Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage, prioritize, and maintain a busy and dynamic calendar of internal and external meetings, events, and appointments, both in person and online for the General Counsel; anticipate and arrange travel as needed.
Maintain communication with the General Counsel to stay on top of changing priorities, and to ensure preparation and organization for all meetings and events.
Proactively administer and monitor key Legal Department projects, some with cross-functional teams; update Legal team members on status and milestones as needed.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, agendas, presentations and other documents in appropriate formats.
Maintain and organize legal files and confidential records. Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Assist paralegals with contract lifecycle management and other Legal Department systems, including tracking deadlines and renewals.
Support attorneys responsible for compliance and regulatory filings, including document preparation and submission logistics.
Coordinate with internal departments and external counsel as needed.
Serve as the Legal Department's administrative point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare expense reports, process invoices and monitor the budget for the legal team. Align with other executive assistants on company procedures, administrative processes, and best practices.
