A highly regarded private, Catholic college-preparatory school in Montgomery County is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the President of the School. You will work closely with senior leadership and the Board while supporting an educational community grounded in faith, academic excellence, leadership and service. The school offers a competitive salary of up to $75,000, 100% employer-paid health and dental coverage for the employee, paid vacation, sick and personal time, a generous school holiday schedule and modified summer hours. The Role Serving as a trusted partner to the President, the Executive Assistant will manage the priorities and daily operations of the President's Office while interacting with members of the Board, school leadership, faculty and staff, students, families and members of the broader community. The ideal candidate is warm, polished, highly organized and exceptionally discreet, with the judgment and initiative to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and represent the President's Office with professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities Serve as the President's primary administrative partner, anticipating needs and helping manage priorities, commitments and workflow. Manage a complex calendar, meetings, appointments, travel and long-term scheduling. Prepare the President for meetings and engagements by coordinating information, materials and follow-up. Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with exceptional discretion and judgment. Support the Board of Directors, including meeting coordination, communications, agendas, materials and meeting minutes. Serve as a key point of contact between the President's Office and school leadership, faculty and staff, students, families, Board members and external constituents. Draft, edit and prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other communications. Coordinate the master school calendar in partnership with academic leadership. Manage special projects, events and other priorities of the President's Office. Create a welcoming, professional and highly responsive environment for everyone interacting with the Office of the President. What We're Looking For 10+ years of experience supporting a leader in a school setting (ie- Principal, President, Headmaster, etc) Prior experience within education, an independent school, Catholic education or another mission-driven organization is highly valued. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong professional judgment, diplomacy and discretion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; Blackbaud experience is a plus. A collaborative, positive and service-oriented approach. Ability to work independently while building strong relationships across an organization. Respect for and ability to support the teachings, values and mission of a Catholic educational community. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
