Executive Assistant - Progress Authority The Progress Authority is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, Vice President of Community & Economic Development, and leadership team. This position plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the organization and supports its economic and community development activities throughout the region. The Executive Assistant will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including Board administration, financial administration, grant and compliance coordination, contract and lease administration, office and building management, executive support, and social media and marketing.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating Board meetings, agendas, notices, meeting materials, minutes, and Board appointments Assisting with internal accounting, banking, financial reporting, invoices, and financial records Maintaining organizational registrations and assisting with grant and compliance requirements Coordinating contracts, professional service agreements, leases, renewals, and related documentation Managing executive scheduling, correspondence, meetings, and organizational records Coordinating building maintenance, inspections, vendors, housekeeping, and other facility needs Managing office supplies, equipment, technology, and general office operations Assisting with social media, marketing, events, and organizational communications Communicating professionally with Board members, businesses, tenants, government agencies, elected officials, and community partners
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred. Candidates should have five years of progressively responsible administrative or executive support experience, strong organizational and communication skills, working knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
