The successful candidate will be a dependable and personable professional who can manage confidential information, coordinate schedules and meetings, prepare correspondence and reports, and interact effectively with residents, staff, community partners, and the public. Approximately 10 hours per week of the position will be dedicated to Resident Services , with the remaining time focused on executive and administrative support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Executive Assistant Responsibilities Provide administrative and organizational support to the Chief Executive Officer. Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and scheduling. Prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, presentations, agendas, and other documents. Assist with preparation and coordination of Board of Commissioners meetings and materials. Maintain confidential files, records, and correspondence. Receive and appropriately respond to telephone calls, emails, visitors, and inquiries. Coordinate meetings with staff, residents, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Assist with tracking deadlines, projects, reports, and follow-up items. Conduct research and compile information as requested by the Executive Director. Assist with special projects and administrative initiatives. Maintain professional relationships with internal and external contacts. Perform other duties as assigned. Resident Services Responsibilities - Approximately 10 Hours Per Week Serve as a resource and point of contact for public housing residents regarding available programs, services, and community resources. Assist in identifying resident needs and connecting residents with appropriate community service providers. Coordinate resident meetings, workshops, educational programs, wellness activities, and community events. Maintain communication with residents regarding Resident Services activities and opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with local nonprofit organizations, social service agencies, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and other community partners. Assist with resident engagement and participation in Authority programs and activities. Maintain appropriate records and documentation of Resident Services activities. Assist with outreach to residents who may benefit from available programs and resources. Prepare resident newsletter and calendars. Assist with special Resident Services projects as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, human services, social services, or a related field preferred. Three or more years of progressively responsible administrative, executive assistant, resident services, housing, social services, or related experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills. Ability to establish positive working relationships with residents, employees, community partners, and public officials. Experience working in public housing, affordable housing, government, nonprofit, or community services is highly desirable.
