$25.00-$30.00 per hour , depending on experience About the Opportunity This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to make a meaningful impact. You'll work directly with the founder of a veteran-focused nonprofit organization while helping support several growing businesses in healthcare, real estate, and other ventures. This is far more than a traditional administrative position. No two days are the same. You may be coordinating a fundraising event for veterans, researching business opportunities, preparing reports, organizing travel, assisting with strategic projects, or helping keep multiple organizations running efficiently. What You'll Do Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage executive calendars, meetings, and appointments Coordinate travel, lodging, and detailed itineraries Conduct research and prepare concise summaries and recommendations Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and professional correspondence Assist with administrative operations for a veteran-focused nonprofit organization Support fundraising initiatives, donor communications, and community events Coordinate vendors, contractors, and outside business partners Organize electronic files, records, and project documentation Track multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met Assist with marketing, special events, and community outreach Handle confidential business and financial information with discretion Help prioritize competing projects across multiple businesses Perform general administrative and operational support as needed Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Has outstanding written and verbal communication skills Is proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Learns new software quickly Enjoys research and finding answers independently Can manage multiple priorities without constant supervision Has exceptional follow-through and attention to detail Is comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Exercises sound judgment and maintains strict confidentiality Has a positive, "figure-it-out" attitude The ideal candidate is resourceful and naturally curious. They don't wait to be told every step—they anticipate needs, solve problems, and take ownership of projects. Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar role Experience supporting executives, entrepreneurs, or business owners Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms Experience creating presentations, reports, and spreadsheets What Success Looks Like The successful candidate will become a trusted partner to the founder by anticipating needs, keeping projects moving, reducing administrative burden, and ensuring important tasks never fall through the cracks.
