File Clerk Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is California's leading personal injury law firm. With over $3 billion recovered for our clients, we are built on trust, dedication, and exceptional results. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our administrative team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a professional office environment. The File Clerk will play a key role in helping maintain organization and ensure the secure handling of sensitive legal documents.
Responsibilities include:
Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files Sort, label, scan, and file incoming mail and legal documents Retrieve and deliver files for attorneys, paralegals, and staff as needed Ensure all documents are accurately filed in the appropriate locations Assist with file audits and records management projects Maintain confidentiality and handle all records in a HIPAA-compliant manner Perform general clerical duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements:
