First Shift Book Print Operator Express is looking for a reliable book print operator for one of our great Woodstock clients.
The role will include:
Set up and operate high-speed industrial printing presses according to job specifications. Monitor press performance to maintain consistent print quality, color accuracy, and alignment. Adjust ink levels, paper feed, pressure settings, and registration to ensure optimal output. Conduct in-process quality inspections to verify text clarity, image sharpness, and correct pagination. Maintain production speed targets while minimizing waste and downtime. Identify and correct print defects such as smudging, streaking, misfeeds, or color inconsistencies. Verify job tickets, paper stock, ink specifications, and print files before and during production. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting on printing equipment. Ideal candidates will be have previous machining experience
