File Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Amherst, New Hampshire. This is a part time position with flexible hours from 9am to 3pm. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and digitizing critical documents to ensure seamless access and storage. Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain physical and digital files to ensure easy retrieval and proper storage.
• Scan paper documents and convert them into digital formats using scanning equipment.
• Label and categorize files accurately for systematic archiving.
• Handle file boxes and ensure all records are securely stored.
• Perform e-filing tasks to update and maintain electronic records.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline the filing and documentation process.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of scanned documents before archiving.
• Assist in managing the flow of documentation within the department.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for document handling.
• Provide support for any special projects requiring file management expertise.
