Geriscript Pharmacy of Maryland Is Hiring a Full-Time Records Assistant/File Clerk Job description: Geriscript Pharmacy of Maryland, a rapidly growing long‑term care pharmacy, is expanding our team and seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Records Assistant/File Clerk to join our long-term care pharmacy team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, organizing files, scanning documents and supporting the daily administrative needs of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with confidential information and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize records and files in accordance with company procedures.
- Scan, upload, and accurately file documents into electronic systems.
- Retrieve and prepare records as requested by pharmacy staff and management.
- Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems.
- Assist with record retention.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous clerical, filing, data entry, medical office or pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
