Job Description

We are looking for a dependable File Clerk to provide part-time onsite support in Waterville, Maine. This is a Contract position expected to last approximately 4-8 weeks, offering an opportunity to assist with high-volume document handling and administrative organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with digital files and paper records, maintains strong accuracy, and can manage repetitive tasks efficiently in a structured office setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare digital documents by converting files into PDF format and ensuring they are saved accurately for easy retrieval.
  • Print and organize paperwork needed for daily operations, confirming that each set is complete and properly arranged.
  • Assemble large document packets, which may include lengthy materials, with careful attention to order and presentation.
  • Scan and electronically file records so documents are accessible and maintained in an organized system.
  • Support paper-based filing activities by sorting, categorizing, and storing records in the appropriate locations.
  • Review documents for completeness and formatting accuracy before distribution or filing.
  • Handle routine clerical tasks that help maintain an efficient document management process within the office.
