POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Paralegal, a Legal File Clerk with the in-house legal department at The Molpus Woodlands Goup, LLC ("Molpus"), will serve in a support role to the paralegals and lawyers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be honest, trustworthy and understand the sensitive nature of the information, documents and matters they will be exposed to while performing the job, and must commit to keeping such matters confidential. Must be responsible and hard-working, willing to step in and help when and as needed. Will perform general office duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and assisting paralegals and attorneys with various assignments. Will track receipt of transactional closing documents and enter relative information into a contract management program utilized by the Molpus legal team. Will be responsible for entering and setting alerts for Certificates of Insurance within a contract management program utilized by the Molpus legal team. Will maintain an accurate and detailed index of closed files and storage facility location. Will track office supplies needed for legal department.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Strong verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Self-motivation and ability to work well with others, often under time sensitive and stressful situations. Proficiency with common business computer software, including electronic mail and word-processing software. Must be a dependable team player with strong ethics.
