Phone banker Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Communities for a New California Education Fund (CNC EF) is seeking temporary, part-time paid phone-bankers to join our GOTV field team. In this role, team members will connect with voters in Coachella, Indio, & La Quinta to share information about the upcoming midterm election and encourage civic participation . Work will begin on September 30, 2026 and end by November 3, 2026.

DAILY ACTIVITIES

Power building through one-on-one conversations with residents through phone calls. Reach daily goals set by the organization. Performs data entry for phone banking. Participate in team check-ins, debriefs, group activities

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work all scheduled days and hours in person from our Coachella office.. Having your own transportation is mandatory. Must attend a mandatory orientation and training on S eptember 30th, 2026 Must phone bank on the correct date, time and location during designated times. Must be able to use a cellphone, laptop, zoom, web browser and mobile phone applications. Must follow a script and provide accurate information to residents.. Must have strong verbal communication skills as well as ability to connect with diverse people, always maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Phone bankers must be prepared to sit for long periods of time will making calls. Must be able to be on the phones for up to 4 hours. Strong commitment to social and racial justice Bilingual in Spanish, English, Punjabi, or Hmong (Preferred but not required)

Schedule and Wages Wages :

$23/hour

Schedule :

(4 days/ week) Wednesday-Friday/3pm-8pm & Saturday/10am-3pm
