25 August 2026 Animal Defenders International – what we do : Animal Defenders International (ADI) is a 501(c)3 US nonprofit in Los Angeles, with offices in London, Bogota and operates the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa, home to big cats rescued from circuses, zoos, pet trade. ADI works for laws to protect animals used in entertainment, food, wildlife trade, laboratories. Investigations, prosecutions, scientific and economic research. Promotes adoption of advanced scientific methods to replace animals in laboratories. Hybrid, 2 days remote, 3 days office.
Terms:
$42,000/year. Permanent, full time, at-will.
Benefits:

Reports to:
Executive Director Position Objective:
Answering phone, email, letter inquiries, providing supporters, donors, public with information. Handling incoming and outgoing mail. Assisting supporters with donor information, gifts, bequests, and taking part in action calls. Responding to general email queries, opening and distributing mail, sending out thank you letters, emails, outreach packs. Data entry, production of reports and mailing lists, server back-ups. Administration, external services, couriers, etc.
About You:
You are dedicated to support ADI’s objectives and campaigns for legal protection for animals, rescues, education, and the protection of our shared environment. You are dedicated to supporting the public, supporters, donors, to help our campaigns for animals, to encouraging donors, entering gifts into the database, sending out acknowledgements, and organizing mailings. You understand the importance of accurate data entry, production of reports and enjoy helping to run the Los Angeles office, to encourage more support, donations and participation in actions for animals.
