The ideal candidate would have very high attention to detail and be comfortable working with the public. You are required to do the documentation and make sure it is sent to the correct facility for testing. You are not required to conduct the testing. You are required to guide the person who will do their own collection. Primary duties include is assisting with an oral/cheek swab method, and completing a legal chain of custody form. All cases are court ordered and so attention to detail is a must for this opportunity and committed and consistent individuals. The results of the DNA sample collections will assist child support in determining if an alleged father is the true biological father of a child.
