Transit Survey Associate - May 20-23 / 62379 Sapphire Recruitment - 3.9 Rochester, NY Job Details Contract $25 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Survey research Entry level Full Job Description Transit Survey Associate / 62379 $25/hour, short-term May 20-23 Sapphire Recruitment is seeking three outgoing and dependable individuals for a short-term Transit Survey Project in Rochester. This role involves riding public buses and engaging with passengers to complete transportation surveys.

Position Overview:

Ride assigned bus routes and ask passengers to complete a brief survey (7-10 minutes) Distribute and collect paper surveys using provided materials Provide participants with a complimentary bus day pass upon completion Travel between bus routes as needed throughout the day Work closely with the project lead initially, then independently once trained

Schedule Details:

Start time: 6:45 AM (bus departs at 7:00 AM) Typical hours: 7:00 AM-5:00/6:00 PM (Wednesday & Thursday are full days, Friday is still to be determined)

Saturday:

shorter shift (approximately 4 hours, must be available until noon) Friday may be optional depending on project needs Candidates must be available for full-day shifts

Training:

One-hour virtual training via Microsoft Teams prior to project start (scheduled based on availability) On-site guidance provided on the first route

Qualifications:

Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with the public Strong customer service mindset Ability to work in diverse environments and remain on your feet throughout the day Comfortable boarding, exiting, and moving between buses Experience using public transportation is a plus

Additional Details:
