Drug Test Collector Fastest Labs of Canton Canton, OH Job Details Part-time $11 - $14 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Filing English Attention to detail Manual handling Full Job Description About the Role Fastest Labs of Canton is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Drug Testing Technician . In this role, you will provide excellent customer service while performing certified drug, alcohol, and DNA specimen collections. You will also assist with daily office operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, communicating with clients, processing paperwork, collecting payments, data entry, and following up with prospective clients. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, learns quickly, stays organized, and is comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities throughout the day. No prior drug testing experience is required. We provide the training and certification necessary to perform the duties of the position. Schedule & Hours This is a part-time position with a flexible, variable schedule . Employees will be guaranteed at least one scheduled workday per week . Additional shifts and hours will be available based on business needs, appointment volume, onsite testing, employee availability, and scheduling needs. Employees who are available and interested in additional hours will have opportunities to pick up additional shifts when available. Schedules will generally be provided at least two weeks in advance whenever possible . Because our business needs vary from week to week, the number of hours beyond the guaranteed day may vary. Employees may be asked to provide additional coverage when another team member is unavailable. Reliable attendance and flexibility are important for this position. We are looking for team members who are interested in growing with the company and who may be interested in taking on additional hours and responsibilities as business needs increase. Key Responsibilities Client Service & Office Operations Greet and assist clients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner. Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to client questions and inquiries. Schedule appointments and follow established scripts and procedures. Assist prospective clients and employment candidates with general inquiries. Accurately enter and maintain client information in company systems. Collect payments and process transactions accurately. Maintain organized client records, forms, and business files. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming office environment. Drug, Alcohol & DNA Testing Perform certified specimen collections for drug, alcohol, and DNA testing following company procedures and strict chain-of-custody requirements. Collect urine, saliva, hair, fingernail, and other specimens as required by the testing process. Perform instant/rapid screening of urine and saliva specimens when applicable. Accurately complete chain-of-custody forms and other required documentation. Follow all company, laboratory, and regulatory procedures related to specimen collection and handling. Report and submit specimens and test information according to established protocols. Sales & Client Follow-Up Conduct daily outbound calls to prospective and existing clients when assigned. Follow up with leads by telephone, email, or written communication. Assist with developing and maintaining positive client relationships. Follow company scripts and procedures when communicating with prospective customers. Help identify opportunities to bring new business to Fastest Labs. General Responsibilities Monitor and maintain testing supplies, forms, and equipment. Help keep the testing areas, reception area, and office clean and organized. Work independently when assigned while communicating effectively with the rest of the team. Be willing to learn new procedures, systems, and services. Contribute positively to the team and support the overall success of the business. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive client information. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual. Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people. Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures precisely. Comfortable working independently and taking initiative. Able to multitask in a busy office environment. A quick and enthusiastic learner. Comfortable speaking with clients and prospective customers over the phone. Able to read and write English effectively and communicate clearly. Comfortable using computers and learning new software. Flexible and willing to work additional shifts when available. Comfortable working with biological specimens and cleaning supplies.
