September 17-18, 2026 About the Role We are seeking Data Collection Moderators to support a large-scale multilingual AI data collection project. Moderators will facilitate scheduled recording sessions with participants at designated local retail locations. The Moderator will be responsible for preparing each session, assisting participants, monitoring recording quality, documenting session details, and ensuring that all project procedures are followed accurately. This position is well suited for individuals with strong communication skills who are comfortable interacting with different people, following detailed procedures, and working in a structured, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct and facilitate scheduled data collection sessions at assigned locations. Prepare the recording setup and verify that equipment and recording platforms are functioning properly. Welcome participants and provide onboarding, consent, and session instructions. Monitor audio and video recording quality throughout each session. Ensure conversations and recordings follow project guidelines and quality requirements. Provide appropriate feedback to participants and request a re-recording when required. Track participant attendance, session progress, and related information. Handle scheduling changes, cancellations, and participant no-shows. Review transcripts for accuracy and confirm alignment between transcripts and recordings. Upload recordings and session information to the designated project system. Follow all privacy, consent, safety, and data-handling procedures. Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a welcoming environment for participants. Qualifications Fluent in English and proficient in the assigned target language. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, patient, and professional approach when working with participants. Reliable and punctual with the ability to manage scheduled sessions. Comfortable using video-call platforms, recording tools, and basic computer systems. Able to follow detailed technical and procedural instructions. Previous experience in customer service, moderation, facilitation, research studies, data collection, or field operations is preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Schedule & Availability Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling based on project requirements. Availability for scheduled sessions, including occasional weekends or extended hours, may be required. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential. Training Selected candidates must successfully complete project onboarding and training before beginning production sessions. Training will cover recording procedures, quality requirements, participant interaction, privacy, consent, and project-specific guidelines.
