We are looking for an experienced Legal Administrator to support a busy law office in California. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, keeps operations organized, and helps attorneys stay focused on legal work by managing critical administrative processes. The role combines legal support, office coordination, and client communication, making it a key position in maintaining an efficient and well-organized practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Guide prospective and existing clients through intake and information-gathering processes, ensuring matters begin with complete and accurate documentation.
  • Organize, update, and maintain both digital and hard-copy legal files so attorneys can easily access records and case materials.
  • Monitor outstanding items, follow up on pending documents, and keep case-related information moving forward without unnecessary delays.
  • Coordinate calendars, schedules, and priority deadlines to support attorneys and maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Prepare, assemble, and distribute legal documents and client packets with a high level of accuracy and care.
  • Serve as a central point of communication between clients and attorneys, providing timely updates and responsive service throughout each matter.
  • Support general office administration by helping manage workflow, improve organization, and keep internal processes running efficiently.
  • Assist with legal administrative tasks such as file handling, court-related documentation, e-filing, and use of case management software as needed.
