Legal Secretary Location:
911 N Studebaker Rd, Long Beach, CA 90815
Pay Range:
$38.95 - $44.71 per hour

Full-Time, Non-Exempt Join Our Mission-Driven Team Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment? RHF is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide critical administrative and legal support to our Assistant General Counsel and Law Department. This is an exciting opportunity to become a trusted partner within a collaborative legal team while supporting an organization dedicated to improving lives through affordable housing and community services. If you enjoy managing complex projects, maintaining confidential information, and helping legal operations run smoothly, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As our Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in supporting legal operations across the organization by: Preparing, proofreading, and managing legal correspondence, agreements, reports, and other legal documents Maintaining confidential legal files, contracts, corporate records, and compliance documentation Coordinating calendars, meetings, deadlines, and departmental activities Supporting litigation matters through document organization, tracking, and records management Processing invoices, legal billings, expense reports, and departmental administrative requests Serving as a liaison between the Law Department, employees, outside counsel, vendors, and other stakeholders Managing records retention, document archiving, and retrieval processes Providing exceptional administrative support while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar legal support role Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Exceptional organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment Preferred Qualifications Additional legal, business, or administrative education or training Experience supporting attorneys, in-house counsel, or corporate legal departments Active Notary Public Commission, or the ability to obtain and maintain one Why You'll Love Working Here At RHF, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization with more than 60 years of experience providing affordable housing and services that help people thrive.
