Litigation Secretary for AM Law Firm

Newport Beach, CA Direct-Hire $85000.00 - $105000.00 Hybrid Job Description Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a highly regarded law firm to identify a Legal Assistant / Practice Assistant for its Orange County office. This is a highly visible role supporting attorneys and practice teams through a combination of administrative, client service, litigation, and business development responsibilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced professional environment. Key Responsibilities Attorney & Practice Support Manage attorney calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and communications.

Coordinate with internal departments and outside vendors to support litigation, transactions, and client matters.

Assist with document preparation, editing, proofreading, and administrative projects.

Support case teams with research, spreadsheets, correspondence, and trial preparation.

Maintain organized electronic and physical files and assist with document production and distribution. Client Intake, Billing & Filings Assist with new client and matter intake processes.

Support state and federal court filings and coordinate with filing service providers.

Assist with time entry, billing, and matter management functions. Marketing & Business Development Prepare attorney biographies, presentation materials, and marketing documents.

Maintain contact databases and support business development initiatives.

Conduct research and assist with client events, sponsorships, and relationship-building activities.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience supporting attorneys with calendaring, travel coordination, document management, and client communications.

Familiarity with court filing procedures, legal research platforms, and billing/time-entry systems preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Professional, service-oriented, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
