This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking initiative while working closely with attorneys through all phases of litigation. Support attorneys with litigation matters, including drafting and preparing correspondence, pleadings, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents. Maintain and manage calendars for hearings, depositions, trials, meetings, and all related deadlines. Handle state and federal court filings, including electronic filing procedures, while ensuring compliance with court rules. Prepare and organize discovery, exhibits, and case files with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Utilize advanced Microsoft Word features, including creating and formatting Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities. Leverage Microsoft Office Suite and Foxit PDF to produce polished legal documents and maintain case documentation. Work independently and collaboratively as a proactive team member with strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of litigation legal assistant experience, strong knowledge of federal and state court rules, e-filing procedures, discovery, and a self-starter mentality with exceptional attention to detail.
