Job Description

Growing law firm in Redwood City, California is seeking a Legal Secretary to provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys in a fast-paced practice. As a Legal Secretary, you'll support the full litigation lifecycle from case inception through trial. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and prior experience handling state court e-filing and calendaring.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.

Prepare, format, revise, and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and other case-related documents.

Handle state court e-filing and ensure filings are submitted accurately and timely.

Manage attorney calendars, including court dates, deadlines, client meetings, and other key events.

Coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, meetings, and conference calls.

Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files.

Communicate with clients, court personnel, vendors, and outside counsel in a professional manner.

Assist with document preparation, records management, and general office support as needed.
