Description Growing law firm in Redwood City, California is seeking a Legal Secretary to provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys in a fast-paced practice. As a Legal Secretary, you'll support the full litigation lifecycle from case inception through trial. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and prior experience handling state court e-filing and calendaring.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys and legal staff. + Prepare, format, revise, and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and other case-related documents. + Handle state court e-filing and ensure filings are submitted accurately and timely. + Manage attorney calendars, including court dates, deadlines, client meetings, and other key events. + Coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, meetings, and conference calls. + Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files. + Communicate with clients, court personnel, vendors, and outside counsel in a professional manner. + Assist with document preparation, records management, and general office support as needed.
