We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary with at least two years of civil litigation experience and a strong understanding of California court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Manage attorney calendars, including hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings, travel, and client appointments. Coordinate scheduling with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors. Prepare, proofread, format, and electronically file legal documents in state and federal courts. Monitor court deadlines and maintain accurate calendaring and case management records. Maintain organized electronic files and case documents within NetDocuments. Assist with client communications, correspondence, and general case administration. Coordinate logistics for depositions, mediations, trials, and other litigation-related events. Support attorneys with billing, new matter intake, and other administrative functions as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of legal secretarial experience in a civil litigation environment. Strong knowledge of California state and federal court rules, filing procedures, and litigation calendaring. Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, NetDocuments, DocuSign, and virtual meeting platforms. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
