Trauma Law is seeking an exceptionally organized, naturally careful, and relentless about accuracy Litigation Calendar Clerk. You will own the firm's master litigation calendar and help protect our clients, attorneys, and cases from preventable mistakes. We run on EOS principles, which means every person has a clear seat, measurable responsibilities, and accountability for results. We are looking for someone who understands that calendaring is a critical legal function, not routine data entry. What You Will Own Calculate and calendar all applicable California state, federal, appellate, and administrative deadlines Review answers, notices, court orders, hearing notices, discovery, motions, e-filings, mail, and correspondence for calendaring requirements Independently verify deadlines using applicable statutes, court rules, local rules, standing orders, and court websites Maintain the firm's master litigation calendar with complete accuracy Calendar hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials, discovery cutoffs, motion deadlines, expert deadlines, and internal reminders Confirm that assigned attorneys and team members receive accurate calendar entries and reminders Maintain current matter lists and correct personnel assignments Audit calendar entries and identify missing, conflicting, or incorrect information before it becomes a problem Prepare and distribute deadline, hearing, and trial reports Respond promptly to attorney and staff calendaring requests Escalate unclear or potentially dangerous deadlines immediately Take complete ownership of every calendaring request from receipt through final verification You May Be the Right Person If You notice mistakes other people miss You double-check your own work without being asked You understand that "almost correct" is still incorrect You ask questions when something is unclear and never silently guess You follow systems consistently while looking for ways to improve them You want a long-term professional home where excellent work is recognized You welcome clear expectations, scorecards, accountability, and direct feedback You take pride in being the person others can depend on Required Qualifications Ability to independently calculate litigation deadlines based on clear directions/instructions Strong research, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-moving environment Exceptional attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment Why Trauma Law?
