Job Details for Case Administrator Court Name/Organization Florida Middle District Court Overview of the Position The Middle District of Florida is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Case Administrator to support the court's mission of providing fair and impartial justice to all. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills; a commitment to excellence; resilience; and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position is located in the Orlando Division. Location Orlando, FL Opening and Closing Dates 09/04/2026 - Open Until Filled Appointment Type Permanent Classification Level/Grade CL 25 Salary $49,361 - $80,265 Announcement Number 26-48 Position Description The Case Administrator is responsible for reviewing and processing filings to ensure compliance with applicable rules and court requirements; verifying attorney eligibility to practice before the court; maintaining the integrity of case files by monitoring proper access to records; docketing summary entries of documents and proceedings in the Court's electronic filing system, performing quality control to ensure image accuracy and proper document linkage, promptly notifying chambers and Clerk's Office staff of emergency filings; preparing and distributing notices, judgments, and orders to appropriate parties; responding to inquiries from judges, chambers staff, attorneys, and the public both in person and by telephone; and opening and closing civil and criminal cases. Other responsibilities include performing finance duties, processing mail, assisting with intake operations, and archive/records management. Qualifications Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have at least three years of progressively responsible legal administrative work experience. Qualifying experience should include the regular application of clerical procedures, use of specialized legal terminology, keyboard skills, and the demonstrated ability to understand and apply rules, regulations, directives, or laws. This is a fast-paced position requiring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and a professional demeanor. Experience with CM/ECF is highly desirable but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat is preferred. Application Info Apply online through online .
