Job Description
Compensation:
$23/hr - $33/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location. - 0-3 years of experience in real estate, title, mortgage, paralegal, property research, or related field (if 0 years, relevant degree is required)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage spreadsheets, databases, and document tracking
- Self-starter with an administrative/coordination mindset
- Local Boston-area candidate
Plusses:
- Real estate license
- ROW (Right-of-Way) experience
- MBTA experience
- Municipal permitting experience
- GIS or database familiarity
- Geography degree or related background
- Title research experience
- Land acquisition or landowner relations exposure
Day-to-Day:
- Support the ROW/Real Estate Services team with administrative and technical tasks
- Conduct property research and order title documents
- Organize project files, folders, and deliverables
- Update and track information in spreadsheets and databases
- Take meeting minutes and assist with team coordination
- Prepare reports and project documentation
- Assist with mailings and landowner-related communications
- Learn and support various ROW processes and projects
