Responsibilities Manage legal case files and document review using document management systems such as PC Law and MAT Law, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare, draft, and review legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, discovery requests, and contracts with precision and attention to detail. Assist attorneys with client communication, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and maintaining calendars to optimize workflow. Support litigation processes by filing documents with courts, managing procedural deadlines, and supporting civil litigation activities. Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining compliance with legal standards and firm policies. Skills Proven experience in legal support roles with familiarity in estates and estate planning, matrimonial law, family law, civil litigation support, and general & commercial litigation. Strong proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis; experience with legal case management software like PC Law is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle filing procedures accurately. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at client interaction with professional phone etiquette. Experience supporting attorneys in project management tasks related to complex cases or multi-practice areas. Familiarity with document review processes, legal drafting standards, and electronic filing systems. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining high levels of confidentiality. Willingness to be a team player and step in when needed for reception duties
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
