Elder Law & Estate Planning Location:
Harrisburg, PA (in-office; this is not a remote or hybrid position) Reports to: Supervising Attorney Responsibilities Set up client files. Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents from attorney drafts. Manage attorney calendars and filing deadlines and track matters through each stage of the process. Prepare and file documents with the Register of Wills, Orphans' Court, and other courts and agencies, including electronic filing where applicable. Draft and prepare correspondence, transmittal letters, and routine client communications. Maintain accurate, well-organized physical and electronic client files. Interact with clients who are often navigating some of the most challenging times of their lives; approach every interaction with empathy, patience, and professionalism. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion at all times. Qualifications 2+ years of legal secretary or legal administrative experience; experience in estate planning, elder law, or estate administration strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Clio practice management software is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Requirements Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
