Siegel, LLC Havertown, PA Job Details Part-time $23.79 - $28.65 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Outlook Computer literacy Law office experience Clerical experience Full Job Description Our office is seeking a reliable, organized, and personable part-time Legal Secretary to work in person in our Havertown office . We are a small, busy law firm with a diverse practice that includes estate planning and administration, workers' compensation, personal injury, appellate matters, and attorney ethics and disciplinary matters. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a professional but friendly small-office environment and who can help keep the office organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities Answer and route telephone calls and communicate professionally with clients Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Prepare, format, proofread, scan, and organize correspondence and legal documents Maintain electronic and paper client files Assist with opening and closing client matters Handle incoming and outgoing mail Communicate with clients, courts, attorneys, medical providers, and others as needed Assist with estate-planning documents and client questionnaires Perform general administrative and clerical duties Help attorneys and staff with day-to-day office needs Qualifications Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information professionally Comfortable using computers and learning new software Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook preferred Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Dependable and able to work independently Prior law-office or legal-secretarial experience is preferred Position Details Part-time In-person position — Havertown, Pennsylvania Weekday hours Friendly small-firm environment No remote work Compensation commensurate with experience We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our office rather than simply fill a clerical position.
