Overview:
The Legal Fellow will support the legal team by conducting research, drafting documents, and assisting with legal operations. This role offers hands-on experience in various areas of healthcare law, providing exposure to real-world legal matters in a professional setting. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on a wide range of legal topics Assist in reviewing, organizing, and summarizing legal documents and contracts Support litigation efforts, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence Attend meetings, hearings, or depositions when applicable Maintain and update legal files and databases Monitor regulatory and legislative developments relevant to the organization Perform tasks to support special legal projects as needed
Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited law school within the previous 12 months, and be eligible to take the July Bar Exam in Virginia. Juris Doctor (Required)
