Job Description

We have partnered with a five-office California firm that is seeking a Legal Assistant in the San Diego office. This well-established firm has had a strong client base since the 1950s and offers a great long-term opportunity for growth and development. The position is hybrid after 45 days (4 in office/ 1 at home). This firm has about 100+ staff and is growing. They handle a variety of practice areas. This position supports the Managing Attorney and two other Partners primarily with business litigation. About the role
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant with a strong litigation background Knowledge of federal, state and appellate court filing rules and procedures E-filing, trial prep experience Knowledgable in preparing TOC and TOA's, preparing discovery shells and litigation cycle Excellent proofreading and writing skills Strong organization and calendaring Computer software knowledge
