Job Summary:
The Dog Grooming Manager oversees the daily operations of a grooming salon, ensuring high-quality care for all pets and excellent customer service. This role is responsible for managing staff, scheduling appointments, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day grooming salon operations, including opening and closing procedures Schedule and coordinate client appointments, ensuring optimal time management and minimal wait times Supervise and support grooming staff, including training, performance monitoring, and scheduling shifts Maintain high standards of pet care, safety, and hygiene at all times Communicate with pet owners to understand grooming needs and provide service recommendations Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner Monitor inventory levels and order grooming supplies as needed Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Track business performance, including sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dog grooming or pet care (management experience preferred) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Must be fluent in Spanish and English Knowledge of grooming techniques, tools, and breed-specific requirements Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments
Work Environment:
Fast-paced grooming salon setting Requires standing for extended periods and handling animals safely May include weekends and holidays based on business needs

From $150.00 per day
